Sammee Jackman is a Non-Binary, Bisexual individual who lives in Salt Lake City with their Hobbit husband and two guinea pigs! Growing up in Pocatello, Idaho created many challenges for Sammee being Black, low income, not part of the “right” church, not loving the “right” people, etc. After receiving their degree in Theatre from Idaho State University, Sammee fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving to New York City. After a wild ride in New York it was time for a change. Sammee found themselves in Salt Lake City. Close to home but not too close. From there they have been involved with many different theatres and productions. They also began their drag clown career which had blossomed into international performances. Sammee has a passion for history, art, healing and being their authentic self. They are looking forward to hosting this podcast to share their love for storytelling as well as creating a space for the outcasts just like them.

Tori Force is an art therapist living in Seattle with her husband and two cats. She has always had a passion for helping others and loves what she gets to do everyday with the teens and kids she works with. Tori has slowly learned how much she played a role to survive growing up in Pocatello as a Black, emotional gal. After high school Tori was ready to find the real person within her and set off to Portland Oregon to start the journey of becoming an art therapist. After 8 years and a number of experiences, Tori is officially working as an art therapist with an underserved population. When she is not doing the therapy thing you can find her making art, crocheting or knitting, gardening, spending time with friends and outside any chance she gets. She is excited to host this podcast with her sister because it will, hopefully, be a place for healing as well as sisterly silliness.
